Fully managed database
A real database for your app's data, synced across your users' devices. It's created the moment your app needs one, a separate one for testing, and only your app can reach it.
User sign-in
Sign in with Apple and email codes, set up the way Apple requires. Account deletion is built in, because Apple insists on it.

Free trials and monthly or yearly plans through Apple's in-app purchases, with a paywall ready for review. Your app always knows who has subscribed.

Yours to keep
You own your app's code and data. Your app's code is yours to download, and its database is standard SQLite, so it runs anywhere. If you ever leave Angelfish, your app comes with you.
Under the hood, for the curious: each app gets its own SQLite database on Cloudflare D1, backed up continuously for 30 days; your app's server, sign-in and files run on Cloudflare's worldwide network; AI comes from leading models through OpenRouter.

Do I need my own hosting or database?
No. Every Angelfish app comes with its own, set up the moment your app needs it and run by us.
Do I need my own AI account?
No. On a paid plan each app gets its own AI key with a spending limit, set up for you. You never see or handle a key. Free doesn’t include AI in your app.
Is my users’ data safe?
Each app has its own database with access rules on every table, and we check its security before it goes live. Keys and passwords never go inside your app.
Are backups included?
Yes. Your app's database is backed up every day, automatically.
Can I take my app elsewhere?
Yes. Your code and data are yours. Download your code and your app's database at any time. The database is standard SQLite, so they run anywhere.
